BIOGRAPHY
Julie Nichole is a retired Registered Nurse and mother of two daughters. She grew up in Quincy, Massachusetts and currently lives in New Hampshire with her family and her dog Toby. In My Heart is the first children’s book she has written and self-published. She began writing children’s books in the summer of 2022.

In My Heart was written to honor the memory of Katelyn E. McCarthy after her sudden passing on May 13, 2022 at just 18 years old. Throughout Katelyn’s school years she endured bullying and many challenges because of her learning differences. She overcame many of her obstacles during high school. Katelyn learned that the most important quality a person can have is to have kindness towards others. Katelyn was unapologetically unique, always kind and true to herself. She stood up for herself and others that were also experiencing bullying. She always accepted others and was a calming force amongst her friends. This story was created to encourage kindness and self- love for children of all ages. We will continue to keep Katelyn's memory alive through this book and her Scholarship Foundation. The one thing she always wanted was to always treat others with kindness.
